Alabama Permit Prep · Effective October 13, 2026
Alabama Permit Prep (“the app”) is made by Third Cup. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app. The short version: we don’t collect any.
This policy covers the app only. Visits to the thirdcup.com website are covered by the Third Cup website privacy policy.
Information we collect
None. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party services. It never sends your information to us or to anyone else.
Information stored on your device
To track your progress, the app saves the following only on your device:
- Your quiz and practice-test results, including which questions you’ve answered correctly or missed
- Your study streak
- Whether you’ve purchased the full unlock
This information never leaves your device, and we can’t see it. Deleting the app deletes it.
Purchases
The optional full unlock is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your name, payment details, or Apple Account information. Apple’s handling of purchases is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Crash reports and ratings
If you’ve chosen in your device settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may give us anonymous, aggregated crash reports. These can’t identify you. The app may also show Apple’s standard prompt asking you to rate it. Apple handles any rating you give.
Children’s privacy
Many people who use the app are teenagers studying for their learner’s permit. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the effective date above.
